We are

We are Tereza and Kateřina – two long-time friends who love discovering new places, and together we’re creating the kamvpraze project for you.

When we set up kamvpraze in 2017, we had no idea that a small profile we’d created just for fun would grow into a platform that would inspire tens of thousands of people every day. We were looking for a page that would provide clear recommendations for a wide variety of Prague’s restaurants and bars. And because we couldn’t find one, we decided to create it ourselves.

Kamvpraze serves as a pocket guide to Prague’s gastronomic scene: a space brimming with inspiration, tips and honest recommendations for places well worth a visit.

From small, cosy cafés to hipster bistros and bars, right through to luxury restaurants. Little by little, our passion for discovering, sampling and enjoying cafés has grown into a platform which, thanks to you, can grow and evolve every day.

A consultant and organisational psychologist who loves to start her day with an oat cappuccino – ideally in a cosy café, or even better whilst out for a walk in the sunshine. She loves discovering cafés and bistros that aren’t afraid to be different and offer an unconventional experience. At kamvpraze, she is responsible for strategic direction, client communications, forging new partnerships and content planning. Kateřina ensures that kamvpraze continues to develop whilst remaining true to its mission – to showcase the best of Prague’s gastronomy and provide tips on places people always love to return to.

A child psychologist who loves the smell of fresh coffee, leisurely mornings spent having brunch, and long dinners with friends. In her spare time, she enjoys discovering new places and seeking out spots you’ll want to return to time and time again. She enjoys taking in their atmosphere, the little details and the stories behind them. At kamvpraze, she is primarily responsible for content design, creating Reels and day-to-day operations. Tereza is the creative face of the project and takes great care to ensure that the content is not only practical and inspiring, but also visually appealing, clear and easy to remember.
